As a Kinesiologist, one of the most common issues I come across with clients is communication. People know how to talk, but not communicate. talking about things is easy. Communicating how you feel to the people who are closest to you can often be daunting. We don’t want hurt their feelings but we’re willing to forego our own feelings to save someone else’s?! It’s important to remember that everyone is entitled to feel the way that they do. It may not be what is actually happening, they may not want to feel that way, but emotions are funny things and have a habit of getting into the little nooks and crannies of our mind and body regardless. One of the most important things you can do for yourself in order to open the lines of communication is to listen.
